Exterior

The building exterior is a light coloured precast fascia with large windows. The building itself is set in a lushly landscaped setting.

 

Lobby

The Lobby features a three coloured ceramic tile floor laid out in a geometric pattern. Fluorescent lighting is recessed into a cove in the high ceiling. The walls are covered with a painted grass cloth finsh.

 

Elevator

The geometric tile pattern of the lobby is echoed in the elevator. The walls are covered with a plastic laminate finish trimmed with stainless steel. The elevator door has a textured stainless steel finish.

 

Common Areas

Upper floors have broadloomed floors. Walls are covered with a speckled blue/grey paint. Suite doors are over sized covered in a simulated maple grain plastic laminate finish. Ceilings are white acoustic tile with recessed four foot flurescent fixtures. All common areas have been refinished within the last five years.

 

Security

Building doors are locked outside regular business hours. An Intercom by the front door allows visitors to contact tenants via the tenants' own telephone system. After business hours access is only possible by means of a card access reader by the main door. The security cards are issued on a strictly controlled basis upon payment of a deposit and may be individually deactivated if necessary.

 

Location

The building is located on Scarsdale Road in Don Mills. Scarsdale Road is the first street east of Leslie Street running south off York Mills Road.

 

Parking

The building is supplied with ample above ground parking.

 

Neighbourhood

85 Scarsdale Road is located in a quiet commercial community of newer low rise buildings. Nearby the stretch of York Mills Road between Leslie Street and Don Mills Road has very recently been revitalized with the construction of several retail and restaurant buildings.

 

Transportation

The building is just minutes from the Don Valley/404 and Highway 401. The York Mills bus stop is a short walk away. It is a very short bus ride to the York Mills station on the Yonge St. Subway Line.
